At Wesson Baptist Church we offer many opportunities for our children.
TeamKids is a great place for our children 3 years-6th come and memorize scripture, learn and study God’s word, games, and snack. Teamkids meets on Wednesday nights from 6-7:15 in the WBC gym.
Children’s choir meets at 5:00 on Sunday nights for children in ages 4 through 6th grade. We perform a Christmas musical each year with dramas and solos. We also perform various specials throughout the year. The children learn to love music and singing about our Lord. Choir is lead by Kay West and Leah Greer.
Bible Drill is a great program for teaching children grades 4th-6th to memorize scripture from a young age. Participating children will develop skills in the use of the Bible, increase their knowledge of the Bible, and learn how to apply the Bible to everyday life experiences. Bible Drill meets August through May and is lead by Elise Munn.
Kids Camp is a week long camp for 3rd-6th graders to experience the time of their lives and learn more about the message of Jesus Christ. At camp, the students will take part in Bible study, recreation, track times, and worship. Kids camp occurs during June or July.
Vacation Bible School is an amazing week where children are involved in Bible study, recreation, music, and crafts. VBS is offered one week during the summer for ages 4 years-6th grade.
